Product overview
DIN7 is German standard 1:50 taper solid locating pin with uniformly smooth spherical ends. Made of 40Cr alloy steel without heat treatment, precision centerless ground for natural bright surface and coated with anti-rust oil. Free of visible tool marks, reliable self-locking after press fitting, widely used for precision positioning and removable connection of mechanical components.
Material & Surface Treatment
Raw material is 40Cr alloy steel without any quenching and tempering heat treatment. Outer surface adopts precision grinding to retain original bright metallic finish without plating or blackening. All products are coated with anti-rust oil for rust prevention during storage and transit. Two ends are uniformly rounded into smooth spherical shape with smooth surface free of burrs and tool scratches.
Features & Advantages
• Standard Specification:Produced per DIN7 standard with 1:50 standard taper, good interchangeability with standard taper holes.
• Superior Self-Locking:1:50 taper design, tight self-lock after installation, not easy to loose under vibration.
• Fine Workmanship:Consistent smooth spherical ends, ground surface without visible tool marks.
• Material Property:40Cr without heat treatment, good toughness, convenient for on-site trimming and matching.
• Surface Protection:Bright natural finish plus anti-rust oil, effective short-term rust prevention.
Application
DIN7 40Cr unhardened ground taper pins are commonly applied for positioning of injection molds, fixture jigs, gear boxes, pump bodies, valve assemblies and general automation mechanical parts under low to medium load.
