Product overview
DIN 6799 is German standard E-shaped open retaining ring for outer shaft mounting, commonly called E clip. It is installed into shaft outer grooves to limit axial movement of bearings, pins and rolling parts. Produced per EN10132-4 with 65MN, C67S spring steel and SS420 stainless steel. Featuring easy installation without special pliers, stable elasticity and burr-free surface, widely used for small-size shaft positioning across precision machinery.
Material & Surface Treatment
All DIN6799 E clips comply with EN10132-4 specification. Carbon steel options adopt premium 65MN and C67S spring steel with complete heat treatment for uniform hardness and outstanding elastic recovery; surface phosphating treatment improves wear resistance and rust protection. Stainless steel version uses SS420 stainless steel with fine deburring processing, smooth surface and excellent corrosion resistance for damp and corrosive working environments.
Features & Advantages
• Standard Compliance:Made strictly to DIN6799 & EN10132-4, precise dimension, perfect fit standard shaft grooves.
• Easy Mounting:Open E structure, install by pressing without special circlip pliers, high assembly efficiency.
• Good Elasticity:Spring steel raw material, tough and anti-fatigue, not easy to pop off after long-term running.
• Fine Processing:Carbon steel phosphated anti-rust; stainless steel burr-free finish for precision assembly.
• Compact Structure:Small size, saves installation space, ideal for miniature shaft limit structure.
Application
DIN6799 E-type retaining rings are extensively used for small shaft positioning in electric tools, household appliances, auto small fittings, motor accessories, instrumentation, fitness equipment, toy gears and miniature automation parts, fixing pin shafts, rollers, miniature bearings and rotating parts.
